Scans For Fans
Last updated 16 July 2026.
Scans For Fans (“S4F”, “we”) operates this platform, including creator mini pages at /c/[creator] and the creator/admin dashboards. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and how it's handled.
If you place an order as a fan: your name, email address, shipping address, and the order details (product, quantity, price).
If you're a creator: your name, email, phone, Instagram handle, bio, and any images you upload for your mini page, plus your order and scan-booking history.
Automatically: a local age-confirmation flag and theme preference are stored in your browser's local storage — not on our servers, and not linked to any personal data. We don't use tracking or advertising cookies.
To fulfil orders (production, shipping, and — while our merchant account is pending — invoicing you directly), to run scan-day bookings, to operate creator accounts, and to send order/booking confirmations. We don't use your data for marketing without separate consent.
Order and shipping details for a fan order are visible to S4F staff and to the creator whose page the order was placed on, so the order can be fulfilled. We don't sell or share your data with third parties beyond the payment processor needed to take payment and the email provider used to send order confirmations.
Order records are kept for as long as needed for accounting, tax, and dispute-handling purposes (typically up to 6 years, in line with UK record-keeping requirements). Creator accounts are kept while active; you can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time, subject to the retention needs above.
This platform sells adult-oriented merchandise and is restricted to users aged 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Under UK GDPR you can ask us what data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or ask us to export it. To make a request, email tom@scansforfans.com.
